MAJOR FORTUNE 500 CLIENT
Institutional Reporting System
|
Our client was using a
manual system to manage the activities and reporting
of a $4.5 billion institutional fund. This
inefficient process created major issues in the
growth objectives and in day-to-day operations.
Artech’s solution included an extensive business
analysis leading to a comprehensive internet based
solution. The system was developed and optimized to
allow users to quickly generate various management
and investment reports.
MAJOR FORTUNE 500 CLIENT
Brokerage Site |
This system was
designed to retrieve categorized links from CNBC and
reformat the links for display on the client's
Brokerage web site. Artech performed a business
analysis and then enhanced the sites usefulness and
convenience. Artech utilized custom scripts written
in PERL and CGI to perform dynamic access, parsing,
and creation of web pages sorted on a variety of
criteria. The resulting information is then
displayed to the visitors.

Tracking & Reporting (Stars)
|
Artech designed an
Internet based solution to replace a legacy
mainframe system. This new system allows managers to
generate a variety of reports on demand much better
control over the financial data. The system utilizes
the daily mainframe data feed from various brokers
and dealers to populate an Oracle data warehouse.
The system is completely Intranet enabled and was
developed using Oracle, Developer 2000, ASP, Visual
Interdev, and MS-IIS.

Payroll Application System (Pads)
|
Artech proposed and
implemented an internet based system that would
allow the participants to perform all payroll
related processes online. The system interfaces with
an internal Payroll Management System to include the
deductions in the payroll process. Additionally, the
system interfaces with the mainframe system to
update the investment transaction data on the weekly
basis. The solution provided a fast and efficient
secured web interface.
